New Australia coach Ewen McKenzie vows to put things straight

New Zealander Deans resigned in the wake of the Wallabies? 2-1 series defeat by the British and Irish Lions.

McKenzie, 48, who made 51 appearances for Australia at prop before turning to coaching, said: ?It?s a really important time in Australian rugby.

?People will worry about where the Wallabies are at on the field. I?m looking forward to the challenge of making a difference in that and in the game as a whole.?
