Al Fresco Holidays are running a Young Travel Writer competition for budding young travel writers. ?The competition is split into two age groups of age 10 and under and age 11 and over and all your child has to do to enter is to write up to 300 words about a holiday they?ve been on.
They should include details like where they went, what they did, and why it was great, and maybe send a picture or two along with their article.
The winning entry will win a holiday for the whole family to a fun-packed Al Fresco holiday park of your choice. ?And, if you don?t know what to expect from an Al Fresco holiday, I can tell you that you won?t be disappointed. ?They provide luxury mobile home holidays on parcs across Europe, with plenty of activities to keep all the family entertained, including on-site water parks, children?s entertainment clubs and even spas for the grown ups.
It?s a great opportunity to win a family holiday with up to ?500 in travel expenses, as well as helping your children to get creative and improve their writing skills. ?I often set my two children tasks like this and whenever we go anywhere away from home, I encourage them to keep a diary as a record of what we?ve done. ?This not only helps their spelling and handwriting, it?s also great to keep them and look back over them from time to time.
If your child wants to enter or you know someone who does, have a look at the Al Fresco Blog for more details on how to enter along with the full Terms and Conditions.
Good Luck
